Hello,

a bit about me:

 

I am Corey Torres (Coralia).  Thank you for visiting my website!  Please feel free to contact me.   

 

Currently, I am working as an administrative assistant at Cornell University to the director of Computer Graphics, Dr. Donald Greenberg.  I am a graduate of the Roy H. Park School of Communications, Ithaca College. I have a B.S degree in Integrated Marketing Communications.  I also have a minor in Writing. Please check out my academic work and real-world experience.

 

My Career Goal and Skills

 

My career goal is to be the best integrated marketing communications and/or writer that I can be.  My current skills and talents include internet marketing, social media,  Adobe, photography, Microsoft, music (singing, guitar, and composing), karate (blackbelt), radio, writing, copywriting, editing, Google analytics, and Excel.   

 

My Work Experience

 

I currently work at Cornell University as the assistant to the director of the Program of Computer Graphics. I use programs such as PowerPoint, Word, and Photoshop (as well as internal databases at the university) to perform course management, administrative support, and coordination for the department. I also use Drupal and Dreamweaver to make web updates. 

 

Prior to working at Cornell, I worked in the graphics and marketing department for the furnishings and home decor brand MacKenzie-Childs. I gained experience in graphics, marketing, and e-commerce while working there and used programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Bridge and Microsoft Excel. I have also gained work experience with various internships in marketing, social media and public relations.  Please check out my resume, and more details of my work experience.

 

My Other Activities

 

I have also gained experience by participating in activities which include being a DJ on the award winning radio station 91.7 FMraising future guide dogs with Guiding Eyes for the Blindand managing various social media accounts.  Please check out more details of my activities.
